“Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong.”Isaiah 1:16 NIV
Imagine just for a moment what a profound effect it would make if we slowed down and actually stopped when we needed to? That is a very powerful thing to imagine now, that’s not to say there has not been times we have Stopped ourselves from doing something not in our and/ or others best interest. But imagine if we did every time there was a question, situation, problem decision to be made and we went to him before proceeding?? Congratulations and Thank You Today we all stopped and dedicated time to this plan for God, Community and ourselves. We have to make sure we are taking care and providing Love for ourselves and that very well may include stopping from doing something. We need to ask him for directions on when to stop and start for that matter because the lines can be so blurred at times by our own thought process and ego. In the event we choose not to Stop something not intended for us we are Blessed we can repent.
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus.
”Acts 3:19-20 NIV
We are all Sinners, it’s Progress and not Perfection. If we make the wrong choice, repent and then show yourself Grace. Confess to someone if you make the wrong choice as we are instructed to do and then give yourself Grace.
“Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.”
Proverbs 28:13 NIV
I will start. I have made the choice recently to take the easy (temporary) way to avoid something vs being intentional not anymore. I will suit up and do the work and this very well may affect other areas of my Life, but it is the right direction to follow that he has been very clear on. Today take a minute Pause, stop if you need to and go him from there. Love you all, have a Blessed day. Love your Higher Power, Yourself and others. Come from a place of Love.
