Happy High Five Friday in Divine Direction

Good evening, Today is another Blessed High Five Friday , please locate your closest mirror and show yourself and Higher Power some Love, then share it . Today’s Word of the day is Divine. What does Divine mean to you ? How does listening and following Divine direction affect you?

In the absence of Divine Direction something may look and feel right at the time but given enough time the gaps will reveal themselves. That new relationship, current relationship, marriage investment, new career, purchase of a home, decision to give into temptation( food, sex, gambling , drinking , shopping, drugs, overspending, working, working out, obsessions, Compulsions , etc) in an attempt to cover things up all may feel great at the time. But will it after the after the use and how about the season?

Divine direction is the only true way through our Journey,unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it we have to learn this through our journey of seasons secondary to be led by Our Emotions.

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”

Emotions are not a bad thing but not every emotion is owned by us and/ or positive. Life is a Journey through the seasons with many stops at the same stop sign which may be a different shade until we choose the direction intended for us .

“This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.”

I am eternally grateful for the Journey through the seasons and my GPS is nowhere near the Power and capacity of the Lords . The old GPS used to say recalculating , remember that ? Even the old GPS gave you the choice to reroute or not and if didn’t follow its directions you guessed it rerouting. Next time something is in question and for sure when considering submitting to temptation Listen on all levels and allow yourself to be guided by Divine Direction.
