Celebrating Sunday with Goals Shaped Around Him

Good evening , Today was another beautiful blessed day to be in Community and celebration . Hope you all have had a fantastic weekend . Today’s Word of the Day is Goals . Who would have thunk right ? What does Goals mean to you ? How do Goals relate to your life ?

This really stuck out to me as a reality check :

”I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:“

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

”I don’t run without a goal. And I don’t box by beating my fists in the air.“

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭26‬ ‭CEV‬‬

This honestly made me think two things . 1. Have I made goals without shaping them around God? 2. Were my goals actually being shaped around God whether I realized it or not at the time. I know we can’t live in the past but I do want to go back in fact right now and question if any of my goals that I have made put God First? Holy Cow. I know that changes have occurred in me that are God driven .But have I ever actually sat down and said this is a goal intentionally for God? Ouch . Again, not saying we don’t do it and not even realize it . Definitely opens one eyes more. Go out live a God Goal and Driven Life . Maybe consider this in the future when setting a goal and simply ask Yourselves is this for God or me ? Love you all family have a Blessed Evening .

Daily Prayer’s

God, thank You for caring for the needs of Your people. You give me everything I need—everything I have is Yours. So please use me and what I have to fulfill the needs of others. Even when it feels hard to be generous, please help me to be willing to give everything You’ve given me for the good of others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Father God, thank You for sending Your only Son to save us. Thank You for creating a way for us to know You personally. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, my mistakes are forgiven! Please help me to never take this for granted. Help me to glorify You in every area of my life, forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God, just as You have forgiven me unconditionally, You are asking me to forgive others. Please help me to do that. Fill me with humility and empathy, and help me to see other people the way that You see them. Show me how to love people the way that You do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God, as I grow in my faith, teach me to keep an eye on those who would lead me well. Give me wisdom to see the foolishness of poor choices that lead to destruction. Bring people into my life who walk with You and know Your peace so that I may learn from them and be better prepared to serve You more faithfully. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Pray for them, minister to them when you can, and continue to love them. Continue to hope that they will become compelled to give their lives to Christ.

This command is for people who have loving, godly parents. Anyone who has not had the opportunity to have such parents, or have come from abusive homes, can find the love of a father and mother in God. God can heal you of all the pain you have gone through and give you the strength to move on from your terrible experiences. He will also guide you when you have children of your own.

The main essence of this commandment is to love our parents with the love of God. When we do so, we are doing a godly thing.
