Good afternoon everyone. Hope you are enjoying your Tuesday. What is one thing you can be Grateful right now ? Today’s Word of the Day is Courage. What does Courage mean to you ? How does Courage play out in your life ?
Did you get a chance to transform a problem into a challenge from yesterday’s message? If not it’s not too late.
This hit today:
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.”
Philippians 4:6 NLT
I heard something today I wanted to share with you all. The next time you are worrying, concerned about something name it? Once you name it let it in and allow it to reveal itself, where do you feel it ?what sensations are you feeling ? Just because you unpack the worry, concern and possibly sensation does not mean you have to put down a deposit on it. You have accomplished this first Huge step by recognizing and letting it know you see it. Now listen to it. What is it trying to tell you ? What we resists persists welcome it in. What is the discomfort trying to tell you ? You truly need to listen and feel it regardless of your level of discomfort. We do should not suppress, hide , cover it , nope we name it and unpack it . We are told more than anything in the scripture not to worry , so name and unpack. Tell it out loud you know its name and see it and are willing to listen but it should be very aware that God is right there as well and not going anywhere. Then verbally infront of it Thank God for being there . Is this process Scary without a question but next time meet and name your problem, concern, possibly sensations and listen to it. What happened when you greeted it versus running from it and then it chasing you down on its terms & demands? When you named it and truly let it in with the Full Understanding God is right there and going no where ? So yesterday we talked about transforming a problem into a challenge consider adding a step and naming that problem before you even consider making it a challenge. Take care of yourself and each other. Cover one another in abundant Love . Love you all.
