Today’s Word of the Day is Disruptor

Good afternoon to all of you inspirational souls. Special Thanks to Alex Gorman Kaplan for the Beautiful, Glorious picture of the sky. Take a Minute today and enjoy the sheer beauty of the sky. Today’s Word of the Day is Disruptor. First what does the word Disruptor mean to you ? Can a Disruptor be a Good Thing? Can a Disruptor be a bad thing ? Can a Disruptor be catalyst for change ? What is one way you are and/or have been to yourself? Can a Disruptor be transformed from Bad to Good ? How has a Disruptor impeded your Growth? How has a Disruptor excelled your Growth? If we have a Disruptor all be it good or bad what do we have to do for it to exist ? Without this nothing will get done . “ Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes “ . One hint what is absolutely necessary for a Disruptor to develop to the positive or negative although hopefully the positive it starts with an I.

So yesterday when I was doing the Bible app, I saw a verse and it occurred to me to send the text to a few people. Well, I did just that and one person responded that I did not expect to respond. So I decided to go back to what I was doing and would reply if and when possible. Then I went back to reading what I was before I got the reply back and this is exactly what I read “The love of God should move us to overlook all offences in order to minister to other people”. Wow, did that hit home so I went back and responded to the earlier message. I knew if I chose to respond it would possibly kick something up and/or affect the time I have a lotted to finish my morning apps and write but that sentence spoke for itself. We are taught to Love people past the offense they may have caused us. Now that does not mean invalidating your boundaries if you have had to put them in place . In all reality having boundaries in place shows that person you Love them . You can Love them and express it from a far. We were created out of Love and meant to share / express Love even to those that hurt us. Love overrides prejudice and exclusion. Again. You may have to Love from a far. We have been forgiven and need forgive others now that does not mean reconciliation and subjecting yourself to more trauma not in any way . It Simply means you accept what happened, which does not mean you liked what happened at all ,no you simply accept it for what it is and where you are now. It means were willing to forgive and sometimes that means responding back to that text, email, call if it does not cross a boundary you have put in place. It does not mean you are ready to go to lunch or maybe you are (only you know don’t force yourself) . Again, I want to stress you may have to Love from a far . If your Boundary is no contact do exactly that forgive and Love from a far . Love you all have an amazing day . Love yourself and others .

The way we love God is reflected in the way we love the people around us. The Christian life is not a life of selfishness or pickiness, where we choose to stick to ourselves or hang around select people of our liking. There is no room for excluding people when it comes to walking in the love of God. The same way God’s arms were wide open for us when we were sinners, is the same way we are to have our arms stretched out wide open to the people around us. The love of God knows no boundaries when it comes to reaching out to people.

The love of God isn’t for a certain group of people. It is for anyone and everyone and the only way God’s love can reach other people is through us. We are God’s representatives on earth and He expects us to do what He would have done.

When Jesus came to the earth He looked down upon no one. He entertained everyone and accommodated them as best as they can. Even though He had many disputes with the Pharisees over their self-righteousness, Jesus never closed them out. He was open to talk to Nicodemus (John 3:1-21), who was a Pharisee. Jesus still spoke to him, counselled him, and taught him about the Way.

The love of God should move us to overlook all offences in order to minister to other people. This is no easy feat but this is why God is with us. This is why the Holy Spirit – the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit teaches us how to love people past the offense they may have caused us.

Loving the people around us is not an option, dear brothers and sisters in the Lord. It is a commandment.

God is Love. You cannot claim to be of God if you refuse to love the people around you. The love of God overrides all prejudice and forms of exclusion.

God doesn’t expect us to stand on the outside, looking in. He expects us to go in, full speed ahead, loving on anyone we can so that they know that there is a God out here who cares about them deeply
