Happy Good Friday everyone . Hope you all have a great day . Today Word of the Day Growth. What Does the word Growth symbolize for you ? How has Growth Recently Impacted your life ?
Today is High Five Friday . Hopefully you have yourself a High Five in the mirror and shared it with a person or two this Glorious Good Friday.
Honesty prior today I did not look at as we were given freedom from our Guilt when Jesus died for our sins. Our penalty for Guilt and Sin was paid for by our Father who sacrificed his son-for our redemption.
”For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.“
Romans 6:23 NLT
”So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.“
John 8:36 NLT
”Jesus said, “I tell you most solemnly that anyone who chooses a life of sin is trapped in a dead-end life and is, in fact, a slave. A slave can’t come and go at will. The Son, though, has an established position, the run of the house. So if the Son sets you free, you are free through and through. I know you are Abraham’s descendants. But I also know that you are trying to kill me because my message hasn’t yet penetrated your thick skulls. I’m talking about things I have seen while keeping company with the Father, and you just go on doing what you have heard from your father.”“
John 8:34-38 MSG
This really hit home as well , When Jesus died he broke our addictions. Wow, that’s powerful and I wonder if we truly realize that he did . Addiction runs rampant in society and I just wonder if the ones affected realize they have been redeemed and free of addiction? The next time someone admits they are addict, which we all know is the hardest step , going to remind them they were set free from addiction when Jesus died on the cross. There is no longer a need to worry about or live a life of addiction you have been redeemed. We may fall from time to time from addiction but Jesus has free us of it.
”Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.“
Hebrews 2:14-15 NLT
This hit home as well when Jesus died on the cross for us it not only free us of a fear of death but fear itself. Wow, sit with that for a minute, let it marinade. Holy Cow! We were set free of all Fears, Wow that is powerful. How much time do we needlessly spent on Fear, Guilt , and Addictions when we have been redeemed of all of that and so much more. Love you all . Have a Wonderful, Blessed evening.

Jesus,
I grieve that the torture and sorrow You endured on the cross were necessary to save humanity.
Because You didn’t want me enslaved to fear, anxiety, or sin—You sacrificed Yourself so that Love could win.
It’s Love that hung upon the cross and gave up everything to rescue me. “It is finished” was a cry of victory, because You defeated everything that held me in captivity.
Because of Your sacrifice, I can experience intimacy with You forever. Thank You! Help me to know You more, and to reach people with the hope found in You.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
God, thank You for meeting me in the midst of my weakness. You provide strength when I have none. You carry me when I can’t walk. You give me hope when days are dark. Thank You for being my ever-present help in time of need. Amen.
God, fill me with a spirit of unity. I want to be a uniter, not a divider. Give me a tongue that speaks with understanding and compassion, reflecting Your love. Strip away my pride to “be right” and replace it with a heart of harmony. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
God, I confess I often do all the talking, and I don’t always expect or listen for an answer. Thank you for always paying attention, always listening, and always ready to respond and give guidance. Speak, Lord, Your servant is listening. Please give me ears to hear what You are saying. Amen.
Lord God, thank You for freeing me from my bondage to sin. Lord, remind me daily that it was You who rescued me. Guard my heart against pride, so that I may not wander aimlessly on my own, forgetting all that You’ve done for me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
