Good evening everyone my day went a little longer today but I still wanted to get this out to you today . There will still be a post for Monday. This post will be abbreviated and tomorrow back to a full post . Well Today’s Word of the Day is Patience. What does Patience mean to you ? Is Patience an area you still need some work on ? Are you a patient person? Today on the work something spoke to me to Pod Cast but unfortunately I did not get an opportunity until I got off work. The Pod Cast is in three parts because I am on call and I took three calls while Pod Casting each one resulted in me ending the Pod Cast recording. If you get a chance listen and share with someone if you feel inclined to . The Pod Cast is about not turning around the New Boat and a confession, there is that whole Open , Honest, Vulnerable thing again but is absolutely essential for Change and Growth.
Prayer, that definitely hits today and I podcasted about it on the way home from work tonight. God will answer our prayers. Are we ready and prepared for what we requested is another question? He will answer our prayers based on his Will for us and he without a question knows what’s best for us , even if we don’t want to and/ or can’t see it at the time . He will hold true to his promises to us . Today was great day for this the timing is in no way a coincidence. I recently found out first hand that it is a choice for us to accept what we prayed for and to see it even if it isn’t Crystal clear. He will come through he Never Fails and will not Fail US, we have to truly listen for him because he will definitely come through, now we have to see it and accept it. Well I did and I didn’t see it but chose temptation over the word he was clearly providing me. I don’t mean to seem cynical but I have previously felt like promises should not be made because they are made to be broken. The one person that convinced me that promises could be honored did not come through as stated but one thing this person said that is true to this day is God always come through with his promises. We are not meant not to worry-pray, Tempted pray, Fear Pray, Insecurity Pray, Broken Hearted Pray, Grieving Pray, Financial Concerns Pray, Guidance getting through a Season Pray. Share the prayer with others “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” – Mathew 18:20.
”Are you hurting? Pray. Do you feel great? Sing. Are you sick? Call the church leaders together to pray and anoint you with oil in the name of the Master. Believing-prayer will heal you, and Jesus will put you on your feet. And if you’ve sinned, you’ll be forgiven—healed inside and out.“
James 5:13-15 MSG
”Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.“
Philippians 4:6-7 MSG
He will come through and without Fail will we be ready and truly listen for his word? Love you all. I pray you all have a great nights rest and wake up refreshed tomorrow.
Dear God, thank you for the gift of prayer. Thank you that I can always come to You with my requests and problems. And thank you for Your perfect will for my life. I pray for the peace that You promise to guard my heart and mind when fear and doubt creep in. Thank you for always watching over me. Amen.
