Good afternoon, Hope you are out enjoying this beautiful day . If you would like at the Glorious, Magnificent, sky we have been blessed with . Look at the sheer beauty and Power of it. Today’s word of the day is Fear. What does Fear mean to you ? How does Fear affect your life?
Fear, well that’s a can for sure. Fear can be if allowed to ( Fed) be debilitating, Cause great pain, Stress, Cause Disease, Break down our body . And just simply hold us back in our Journey. We have two choices with Fear embrace and run to or run the other way . We all know what running the other way will do over time. Yes, you may get temporary relief but it will not be permanent and it has not helped and in fact made the process worse. We can cover it but the whole run down the hall and you guess it you’re still there . Fear has caused and will continue to cause disturbances, Terror , Wars , Division and will continue to in the future as well if fed . Now , please don’t get to far ahead with that we need you present moment and that is not always an easy task. If we continue to feed the fear it was intensify. What happens when a fire has all the conditions necessary for it to grow ? It Intensifies if we keep adding fuel the fire what will occur? How will the fire be extinguished? Will it put its self out if we continue to feed it? Well you can answer that yourself. But I will ask then why do we do it to ourselves ? Do we not have Faith the size of a Mustard Seed? Do not get me wrong Fear is extremely powerful but yet it also a motivator. Not going to go in to much detail on that right now . So why do we do it , why do we feed it , why do we allow it cause division amongst ourselves and others? Only each of you can answer that for yourself or maybe you can right now. If that’s the case how do you start the process to find out? Do the Work . Myself a big element of why we run from Fear is it uncomfortable, the unknown. Nobody likes to Fear anything and it feels uncomfortable but is that feeling more comfortable than embracing it? What happens when we address Fear and keep going back to the table doing it ? When you learned how to drive a car what happened every time you got in and started driving? At first did it not scare the Living Daylights out of you and the thought of getting a busy highway we won’t even talk about that ? But now do spend time Fearing to drive ? Now I understand there could be extenuating circumstances for some and no way down playing that at all . For those of us without extenuating circumstances do you get in your sit down behind the wheel and then get up exit the car and decide nope I can’t do it , it’s way to uncomfortable? Or do you simply get behind the wheel drive the vehicle and get better at it every time, in fact to the point you don’t even have to think about “ One Could Say you can autopilot “ . Auto Pilot who does that sound like is behind the controls saying give it to me let me do the maneuvering, I have already plotted the journey for you ?
God is a safe place to hide, ready to help when we need him. We stand fearless at the cliff-edge of doom, courageous in seastorm and earthquake, Before the rush and roar of oceans, the tremors that shift mountains. Jacob-wrestling God fights for us, God-of-Angel-Armies protects us.“
Psalms 46:1-3 MSG
Now I am down playing Fear in anyway but what happens when you don’t want do something “Fear it” ? Run from it . Whatever it is your tackling will it do the work itself? We have to embrace what we are Fearing or the Fire will only get worse to the point you can even touch the door. Love you all . Love yourself! Give it to your Higher Power. Run towards it not away from it. Have a beautiful blessed day .
Dear God, thank you for Your power over everything I face. Help me to have a faith bigger than my fear. Use my weakness to demonstrate Your strength. Thank you that Your love for me never fails. Amen.
