What Energy Are We Expending by Complaining

Good evening, hope you all are had a Blessed day. This is Still Wednesday post there will also be one for Thursday later in the day . Today is full of so many things to be grateful for that we do not even realize. Do we spend time and energy being grateful ? Only you can answer that for you .

Now, today has so many things we could complain about . Do we spent the time and energy to complain? Again, only you can answer that for yourself. I realized when sitting down to write this morning I was complaining to a friend about something and didn’t even notice what I was doing at the time . I spend the time and energy complaining about , sharing it at that over working on solution. Did it do any good complaining and using up all that energy that could have been utilized elsewhere? No. Nothing was done to work on the solution, nope instead the fire was stoked and given fuel . What did this do to help the process of the concern mentioned absolutely nothing but fuel it. Do we feel any better after we stoke the fire? Be honest The Truth Will Set You Free. Do we do anything to resolve what we are complaining about and give it further energy? If we start a sentence with I don’t mean to complain or shouldn’t complain but , right there pause and be honest with yourself are you about to complain and share it with someone? How is this going to help ? It’s easy not to complain when everything appears to be going our way but when it doesn’t we complain and give it more Energy? Let’s be honest it is almost impossible not to complain but we can do the work to recognize it and minimize it , all the time keep in the back of your mind you are giving it energy. Paul reminds us ”Do everything without complaining and arguing,“

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This verse in time of stoking the fire can be and was created to be beneficial to us.

When we complain we are expending energy on many levels. Not to mention when we are complaining we are not living in the moment. We are either in the future or past , would venture probably the past. Love you all have a great day. ”Do everything without complaining and arguing,“

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God, don’t let me believe Satan’s lies that what I do doesn’t matter. I know you see my love and kindness. I don’t live for the world’s applause, but for Yours. Help me not give up doing good even when I feel unseen and unappreciated. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God, You are the perfect example of patience and grace. Thank You for being patient with me! Show me a specific area in my life where I need to develop more patience. Fill me with hope and wisdom to trust You, especially in the midst of difficult times. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lord, thank You for being my safe place—I know I can talk about anything with You. I’m grateful I can confidently ask You for the things I need, seek You consistently, and ask You for things that seem impossible. You are a miracle-working God—and I am honored to trust You with my life.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Jesus, thank You for showing Yourself to be the greatest of servants. You took on flesh and willingly gave Your life so that I could be lifted up by Your mercy. Help me to live in that mercy, serving others and lifting them up in Your love by the power of Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, amen.

There are figures in the Bible that complain, certainly. I would argue that all of them, Job, King David, Moses, realize that their complaints were incorrect. They ask forgiveness almost immediately upon complaining, realizing their mistake. We should all seek to do the same. Keep this verse and meditation in your heart. Next time you are met with an inconvenience, “Can’t complain!”
