Good afternoon everyone. Hope you all are a having a blessed day. Today is Think About Yourself Thursday. So this week as described below what is one way you can display with your actions humility? What’s one way with your actions you can display unity?

In our life do we strife to achieve Pride? or Humility, Goodness, Kindness and Love? We were all created as one and no one was created to be better than the other . Now, we are all created with intended purpose in life and the first is to Love ourselves, one another and our Higher Power. Does this mean we have to do this with a badge of pride on our shirts not at all , in fact the complete opposite and walking In humility. Is this an easy task in no way ; however, it was the way we were created and when we don’t what’s the end result? Do we know? Pride whether we realize it or not is displaying a failure to Love. Wow, I for one did not look at it like that up until now. Is your way always the right way? is there someone else that knows a much more efficient way ? Even if your way is the right way , does it matter that you wear a display of pride you are right? What was the cost of proving I am right and you’re wrong? Did you Display you were coming from a place of Love? When we display Pride and display we were right look at us it displays disgrace and not wisdom. We are instructed and created not to think we are better than we really are .

”Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.“

Furthermore, God created us for Love, Humility, Community, Kindness, Peace, Patience, Goodness, Joy, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-Control Not for Pride and disgrace of one another.

”Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!“

”And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”“

We are all one and were created to be in Unity and not division. Pride and division are barriers that prevent us from doing just that. Today ask yourself what is one way I can show and not just say you are Humble? What is one action you can take to show Unity? We are all one! I Love you all please walk in humility and unity today with Love and Kindness.

Daily Prayer’s

God, fill me with a spirit of unity. I want to be a uniter, not a divider. Give me a tongue that speaks with understanding and compassion, reflecting Your love. Strip away my pride to “be right” and replace it with a heart of harmony. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Father God, thank you for caring about every detail of my life. Forgive me for spending so much mental energy worrying about circumstances I can’t control. I give each pressing situation to you. Please work in miraculous ways. Thank you that I can trade my anxieties for your peace. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Father God, here I am. You know the hopes and dreams I have for the future. You know the problems I am currently facing, and the struggles I’ve already overcome. You are with me, and You are for me. Please align my will with Yours as I bring my requests to You today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lord, thank You for giving me direction and purpose through Your word. Help me to remember what I’ve read and understand how to live more completely in Your will. Empower me to live for You, so that others may see You and experience Your love and goodness through me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

God did not leave us to feebly attempt to guess what His love may be like. He has shown us time and time again how deep, how endless, and how fierce His love is for the ones He created – the ones who He has called His children. This is an amazing thing to consider when you look at your life.

Seasons and times may change but there is one thing that will remain certain: You are loved by God. Fully. Wholly. Endlessly.

There is nothing that will change about that for as God remains. From the day He started making promises, He has always kept them. That is one of the greatest assurances that a Christian can have – knowing that their Heavenly Father comes through on the promises He makes. Amen.
