Are You Comparing yourself to your past and/or others?

Good evening . Today is High Five Friday. Did you give yourself a High Five in the mirror and/encourage someone else to?

This is speaking to me today Stop Comparing yourself you are not that person, Not in that relationship, not your career, you are not them and have no idea what they either encountered and/or are going through. No idea the work they had to do to get where they are now. And that we have no idea the amount of hate and envy it can cause in our lives. We are beautifully, fearlessly and uniquely made we are not made to be someone else. If we are so consumed with comparison that it causes us to ruminate what are we actually doing during that time our Higher Power is guiding us to towards where he wants us to be? We are allowing comparison with someone or past experience to consume our lives and hinder our growth. Just Stop we are Beautifully, Wonderfully made. We were created to spread love not to plant hate. Is this easy no but we can turn to God and put all of that energy we are utilizing to compare into him. Be the beautiful person you are. Love ya all. Have a blessed day. Love yourself and each other.

Daily Prayers

God, I confess I often do all the talking, and I don’t always expect or listen for an answer. Thank you for always paying attention, always listening, and always ready to respond and give guidance. Speak, Lord, Your servant is listening. Please give me ears to hear what You are saying. Amen.

God, I know that You are good and wise. But sometimes it’s hard for me to trust Your plan over my own. Please help me! Take control of my anxious thoughts and fill me with Your wisdom. Thank You that I don’t have to navigate this life alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God, You are with me in hard times, and protect me at all times. My future is secure in You because I am Your child. So today, I give my life and my year over to You. Teach me to seek You first this year so that I can embrace the abundant life that You offer me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank You, Lord, for the gift of rest. Thank You for setting aside a day where I can turn my heart to You and find rest from the work of my hands and mind. I confess that I don’t always cherish rest as I should, and ask You to help me to make Sabbath rest a priority so that I may be refreshed in Your blessing. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
