Who Do We Have Power Over

Good Evening , did you do something different to start out your day than you did yesterday? If so how did it feel ? Is this something you can continue doing ? If you didn’t it’s not too late now, add something. Today’s Word of the Day is Power. I have noticed as you all have I am sure the writing appears to be on the Word of the Day recently but not I am not making it requirement as it is a choice and Gift not to mention Blessing to have something put on me to write. So what does the word Power mean to you ?

I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God.”

Is it possible to have more than one description of Power for ourselves? Who has the Ultimate Power? What is Strongest Power Field in the world and really Universe?

“Do everything in love.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭16‬:‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Power there is a mouthful. Who has the ultimate Power of You ?

“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Let’s first define power as the definition is found on Dictionary Cambridge : Power ( Control) is a Noun defined as the ability to control people and events .https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/power

So Power ( Control) be definition above is to have Power Over , in Something’s Power.

Ok , let that sit for a minute.

Who do you have Power over ? Who and/or what has Power over you besides Your Higher Power? Are we actually giving someone or something Power ( Control) when we try and control it ? How much energy, time ,sleep, stress , money is utilized trying to control someone else and/or something? Where is that energy going ? Can you get that energy back you expended? So you are utilizing your own energy to try and control something that very well maybe be controlling you now . Do we Truly lose control when we try and control something outside of ourselves? What can you control? What is one of the Fruits of the Spirit? Self- Control. Are we exhibiting Self-Control when trying to Control something outside of ourselves? We’re not created to hold the sheer Power to Control someone else . Will any arguing , compromising, threats , ultimatums change your ability to control someone else ? What will it do and who will it affect? Can you Love someone so bad it hurts and you still can’t control them ? Regardless of how bad we want someone to change to potentially their betterment you cannot do it. Now your efforts can possibly affect you on many levels. Who is the One you can say this yours I have done all I can and surrender it to you , Thy will be done? We are not the pilot or auto pilot for that matter of someone else’s life. We are the pilot of our own through Fruits of the Spirit.

God, help me identify the relationships where I have forfeited my power. Help me unhook and begin owning my power.
